Week 18 - Section 89 Cleanse - The Goldilocks Approach To Supplements

Hello everyone, and welcome to week 18’s recap of 2018’s my diet starts Monday! Let’s talk cleanse. Last week, we talked about the first step, how to go clean. This week, we’re talking step two, going lean, with Supplementation. Now, it’s important to remember that a cleanse is the process of eliminating the bad and loading up on the good. Now, it’s not a big stretch to say that most people are nutrient deficient. They eat plenty of calories, not enough nutrition. How much nutrition is in fry sauce? Exactly. And in order to supply the body with nutrients necessary to convert and eliminate environmental pollutants, waist products and breakdown materials in the body, yeah supplementation is a good idea. Really good idea.

I’m a big fan of supplementation, but at the same time, I don’t take a fist full of pills every morning. It’s counterproductive to under or over supplement. Either one is a waist of time and money. So, what I look for is an approach that is user friendly and at the same time gets the job done.

See, some cleanse programs are too cheap, take a quick and dirty approach, not giving the body the key nutrients it needs. The result? Doesn’t get the job done. Or others that load you up with a shopping cart full of supplements almost putting the emphasis on the supplement rather than the diet. For most, you don’t need them all. Again, big waist. Or even worse, a bunch of supplements all at once that irritate the stomach, is not consumer friendly and is a total turn off. Thumbs down.

The answer? Emphasize the diet, and then add to that clean diet with a good, high quality supplement that helps accomplish a good, proper cleanse. Now, that is exactly why, we use Buddha Trinity. Why trinity? Because we are looking to do 3 things. 1. Liver support. 2. Digestive support. And 3. Anti-oxidant/anti-inflammatory support.

  1. Liver support. The liver’s responsibility is to take a toxin in the body, and change it so the body can easily eliminate it. Now, just to give you an idea, it’s a multi step process. And in addition, there are multiple ways the body accomplishes this steps, depending on what needs to be converted. Needless to say, with this type of complexity and variability, there are a number of nutrients that are needed at sufficient and adequate levels for the process to be successful. If not, the toxin recirculates in the body and gets re-deposited. Not cool.
  2. Digestive support. Once the liver has successfully converted the toxin, it needs to take a trip down the tubes. Again, there are a number of factors that go into this process as well. One big piece in the elimination process is good bile support. Another is making sure that the diet has enough fiber for good motility and an environment for healty bacteria. Speaking of healthy bacteria, a proper ratio of good to bad bacteria should exist. What’s the difference between good and bad bacteria? Bad bacteria absorb nutrients and produce toxins. Good bacteria absorb toxins and produce nutrients.
  3. And third, anti-oxidant / anti-inflammatory support. Remember, one thing that toxins do to the body is cause free-radical damage. Now, the recipe for Free radicals is something called anti-oxidents. Anti-oxidant’s job is to neutralize free radical damage in the body. And yes, the other thing that exists that can greatly get in the way of the liver functioning properly, is inflammation. Taking nutrients that have been shown to elicit a proper response and support normal physiology is a huge step in the right direction when it comes to a successful and comprehensive cleanse.

And the kicker to the whole thing? Yeah, it doubles as a meal replacement. Shut up. No, seriously. Buddha trinity comes in two flavors of chocolate and vanilla. It’s taken in the morning and tastes great by itself or with some added fruit. It can be taken with water, or with the approved liquid of your choice. It not only tastes good, but it’s filling as well.

Now, is that the only supplement that is taken with the Section 89 cleanse? It’s the only required one because of it’s broad spectrum of support. Can you take other supplements in addition to Buddha Trinity? Absolutely. For added anti-oxidant support, we have a fantastic source of resveratrol called Resver-X. For additional anti-inflammatory support, we have a turmeric supplement called Tumer-X.  For additional digestive support, we have GI pro that provides an added measure of the AA glutamine,…and flora Fill, a 100 billion count probiotic. Absolutely fantastic.

Now, all of these supplements along with the cleanse program that fits your approach the best can be found at our on-line store. That’s located under the products tab. Just add these to your shopping cart along with the cleanse program of your choice for an added measure of support. The Section 89 28 day comprehensive cleanse, weather it is the bronze, silver, or gold, is by far and away the most comprehensive and affordable cleanse on the market.
